Aga is one of the members of Crew 238, who from January 2-15 will be undergoing an analog space mission at the Mars Desert Research Station MDRS in the Utah desert.
The MDRS is the world’s largest Mars-analog habitat supporting Earth-based research in pursuit of the technology, operations, and science required for human space exploration. It is owned and operated by the Mars Society.
During her mission at the Mars Desert Research Station, Aga will be simulating the same conditions astronauts would face on Mars. As part of her project, she will be working on The Invisible Colonies, a documentary film project produced by Super Eclectic that revolves around humans’ urge to conquer, and the impossibility of owning what can’t be seen with the naked eye.
